Testing

The Gazelle Proxy opens channels to capture the messages exchanged between two systems under test. In some cases, in particular when the receiver's role is played by a simulator, the Proxy shall open a channel and make sure it is up and running at any time. It means that the Gazelle Proxy shall automatically open such channels when it starts.

During a peer-to-peer tests, SUT operators execute test cases to verify the interoperability of their solutions. At the same time, we want to ensure that the messages produced by each systems conform to the specifications the SUT claims to implement.

When the test bed captures the messages exchanged between the SUTs, it shall allow the SUT operator to verify their conformance.

We are introducing a new feature to allow participants of a testing event to communicate fluently, using an external communication that is linked to Gazelle Test Management (management of channels for discussions).

Any user who is registered in a testing session as testing session manager, monitor, or SUT operator, shall be able to access the communication tool using his Gazelle credentials.

Gazelle users who do not participate in a testing session shall not have access to the communication tool. If they do have an account, it shall be inactivated.

Prerequisite: 

A dedicated validation profile has been entered in the tool, that checks the requirements implemented by the SUT.

Description of the feature:

The SUT operator has a mean to verify the conformance of the HTTP header produced by his SUT against the implemented specifications. A test report is issued by the tool that gathers relevant information for the SUT operator to correct his SUT if needed:

• Have an overview of the test execution and eventually compute some statistics;
• Find a specific test runs;
• Access aborted test runs (they are not visible on the test execution page),

During a test run, several actions are performed by the SUT operators and the monitors. If a test run channel exists, Gazelle Test Management shall post messages to inform the channel's members of the following events:

• The status of the test run changes;
• The status of a test step changes;
• Someone posts a message in the chat window;
• Someone adds an evidence in a test step or at the test run level.
• A monitor claims the test
• A monitor unclaim the test

To ease the communication between the participants (SUT operators, monitors) involved in a particular test run, when a communication tool is made available by the management team, Gazelle Test Management shall be able to manage channels, and in particular:

Zoho Cliq allows the user to set reminders. We want to make use of this feature to allow him to:

• Be reminded to resume a test after the latter has been paused;
• Schedule a test with one or more partners;
• Be reminded to finalize the review of a test run.

This feature makes use of the Zoho Cliq REST API.

IHE Catalyst is creating an IHE Community with the support of Zoho Connect tool. The test session manager can take advantage of this tool to broadcast announcement to the community (or a group inside this community). Some announcement can be automatically triggered to the participants.

As a test session manager, I shall be able to announce to one or more groups that a test session is now open for registration;

When the registration deadline is reached, Gazelle Test Management shall trigger a notification to the groups that the registration is now closed;
